Edwin V. Moore OCTOBER 25, 1942 ~ JUNE 6, 2018 (AGE 75)

Edwin V. Moore, age 75, of Purdin, died Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at Life Care Center in Brookfield.

Funeral services will be Monday, June 11, 2018, at 9:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church in Brookfield with Fr. Jerry Kaimann officiating. Burial will be in Purdin Cemetery in Purdin. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 10, 2018, at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield from 6:00 until 8:00 in the evening. A Rosary Service will be held at 5:30 p.m. before visitation.

Edwin V., son of Earl and Pearlie (Sprague) Moore, was born October 25, 1942 in Purdin. On May 28, 1966, he married Mary Gladbach.

Edwin was a truck driver and a US Army Veteran. He was a member of the American Legion in Linneus and the VFW Post 4557 in Brookfield.

Edwin always had a smile and never met a stranger.

Survivors include his wife, Mary of the home; three children, Shelley Shatto and husband, Ricky of Sumner, Matthew Moore of Brookfield, and Marshall Moore and wife, Cassondra of Brookfield; one daughter-in-law, Rachel Moore of Lenexa, Kansas; five grandchildren, Sydney Moore, Gannon Shatto, Evan Burgener, BriAnna Moore, and Alexandra Moore; three brothers; one sister; as well as other family members and friends.

His parents, one son, Vincent Moore; three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
