Ida Etonia “Tony” Rash age 90, of Shelbina, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at the Salt River Community Care Center in Shelbina, Missouri.

Tony was born September 23, 1927 in Emden, Missouri, the daughter of Charley and Thelma (Martin) Calvert. She was united in marriage to Leroy Long and he preceded her in death in July 31, 1952. She later married Robert C. Rash on November 21, 1956 in Moberly Missouri. He preceded her in death on March 1, 2000.

Tony is survived by her two children, David Long and wife Nancy of Shelbyville, Missouri, and Mike Rash and wife Kim of Shelbina, Missouri; four grandchildren, Jason Smith (Dana), Nealie DeMott (Hank), Adam Long (Dina), and Jenna Long; three great grandchildren, Wyatt Smith, Finley DeMott, Riker Haggerman; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Erlene Parsons and one brother Robert Calvert.

Tony was a member to the First Christian Church of Shelbina where she sang in the church choir and was treasurer of the Sunday School Class. She was a Cub Scout leader, worked at C & R Supermarkets, MFA cold storage as a secretary, and O’Daniels Clothing store in Shelbina. Tony was involved in the construction of Shady Oaks out at the Shelbina Lake and loved to travel the world. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
