Bennie Oliver (Jun 07, 1945 - May 10, 2018)

Bennie Oliver, 72, of Kirksville, Missouri, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2018 at his home.

The son of the late Alfonzo and Mary Elizabeth (Noah) Oliver, he was born June 7, 1945. On June 11, 1969 in Brookfield, Missouri, Bennie was united in marriage to Marilyn Isabell Ash who preceded him in death on November 23, 2014. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, three sisters, and his grandson, Mark Stokes.

Bennie is survived by three sons, Randy Oliver of St. Louis, MO, Tracy Stokes of Panama City, FL, and Michael Shane Oliver of Kansas City, MO; two daughters, Kathie Potter and husband Clifford of Licking, MO, and Jackie Baugh of Columbia, MO; two sisters, Nellie Hungate of Des Moines, IA and Mabel; six grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

It was Bennie's wish to be cremated and a memorial service held at a later date.

Arrangements were taken care of by Travis-Noe Funeral Home of Kirksville.
