Leland Enyeart, age 80, of Brookfield, died Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at Quail Run Health Care in Cameron.

A funeral service will be Monday, April 30, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home in Brookfield with Pastor David Blakely officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Brookfield with Military Honors rendered by VFW Post #4557. The family will receive friends Monday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Leland Lloyd, son of Henry and Hazel (Graves) Kiel, was born July 28, 1937 in Mike. On June 17, 1960, he married Priscilla Smith.

Leland was a US Navy Veteran, serving as an Air Traffic Controller in the Navy on the USS Essex.

When he returned home, Leland began building houses in Brookfield with Vaughn Wilkerson for many years. He later went to work for Marshall Erdmann & Associates until his retirement in 2004.

Leland was a great provider for his family and had a strong work ethic. He believed that if you wanted something, you worked for it and earned it. In his prime, he could out-work, out-hunt, out-fight, out-play and out drink anyone around. He was an amazing man.

Survivors include his wife, Pat Enyeart of the home; three children, Joey Enyeart and wife, Mary of Brookfield, Jerry Enyeart and wife, Sherry of Camden Point, and Terri Enyeart of Brookfield; four grandchildren, Suzanne Young and husband, Jonathan, Jessica Enyeart and Fiancée, Kara Hanlon, Wesley Enyeart and Fiancée, Brittany Klever , and Sam Enyeart; and two great-grandchildren, Mason and Alton Young.

His parents preceded him in death.
