REPUBLICAN REP. NATE WALKER CALLS UPON GOVERNOR GREITENS TO RESIGN

by BENJAMIN C. NELSON

District 3 Representative Nate Walker, has called upon the Governor to resign. After news broke of the Governor committing adultery during the beginning of his campaign (claims of committing blackmail as well), many Missouri Officials, including both Republicans and Democrats, have called upon Governor Eric Greitens to resign. The following statement is directly from Nate Walker:

“STATEMENT CONCERNING GOVERNOR ERIC GREITENS

"I was proud to be one of the first supporters of Eric Greitens for governor.

I believe in his first year, he has accomplished many things that will benefit the state for decades to come. It has become clear after the very courageous statements by Reps. Conway and Haefner, this scandal will make it impossible to lead the state going forward. Last night’s news of state employees being involved in attempting to control the scandal is further proof that that this will not be going away anytime soon.

It is my belief the Governor should resign so that the state can move forward focusing on the issues that we all care about."

NATE WALKER, 3rd District State Representative”
