Happy August! Attached is the Macon County Health Department’s August calendar.

It is almost back to school time, which means your student may be due for immunizations. There are both required and recommended immunizations for students who are entering kindergarten, 8th grade, and 12th grade. Get in early for these appointments to make sure your student starts the school year protected and healthy! We are able to provide immunizations through insurance and through the Vaccines for Children’s program, which provides affordable vaccines for those who are uninsured or underinsured.
